About
Biography
I am the Managing Editor for Ethnic and Racial Studies, the leading international journal for the analysis of the role of race, racism, ethnicity, migration and forms of ethno-nationalism. My responsibilities include the management of the editorial office, overseeing the delivery of the peer review process, liaising with publishers on planning, content, production and marketing of published content.
As a graduate in International Business Studies my first 13 year career was based in international retail managing franchises for major UK clothing retailers mainly in France and Spain including Marks and Spencer, Next and Tie Rack. Here I learnt the valuable skill of process management and when the time came for a career change it was this skill that would enable me to transfer into the world of academic publishing.
Additionally I have recently qualified as a Mental Health First Aider and Menopause Advocate for the University
