Surrey Sports Park – change at the top

During his career at Surrey, Gavin has played a leading role in the successful development of Surrey’s high performing professional basketball and netball teams Surrey Scorchers and Surrey Storm. He has also promoted student participation in sport as well as providing a strong link to the local community through sport development activities with local schools and providing public access to Surrey Sports Park’s superb facilities.  

An interim Director of University Sport has been appointed while the search for Gavin’s permanent replacement is underway. Georgina Agnies, SSP’s Head of Sport Delivery, will be taking on the role on an interim basis.
