Do you have an innovative idea, research project or social enterprise initiative? We want to hear from our young alumni for a unique competition that showcases outstanding scientific research and its entrepreneurial potential.
How the Lab works
Participants get the opportunity to present their research work, business model, or initiative to a high-calibre jury made up of experts from academia and business, and the general public - in three minutes each!
The winners of each Falling Walls Lab qualify for the Global Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November and the three winners are awarded the ‘Falling Walls Young Innovator of the Year’ title, prize money, and get to pitch their idea at the Falling Walls Conference, an annual global gathering of forward-thinking individuals from 80 countries.
Who can apply?
We are looking for great ideas from all fields.
The competition is open to:
- Those with a Bachelor’s degree received in the last 10 years.
- Those with a Master’s degree received in the last seven years.
- Those with a PhD received in the last five year.
- Postdocs and students currently enrolled at university are also eligible to apply.
