Paramedic science course ranked best in UK

Our paramedic science course has been ranked No.1 in the UK by the Complete University Guide 2022.

Chart-toppers

Besting 28 other universities for the top spot, the Complete University Guide 2022 gave our paramedic science course a 100% overall score, recognising that all of our graduates are in employment or further study 15 months after graduating. We also ranked 4th in the UK for food science and 5th for nursing (including midwifery), with veterinary medicine featuring in the top 10.

Some 130 UK universities were included in the subject league table, which covered 74 subject areas, including biological sciences, psychology and sports science. Six measures of performance were used to calculate the rankings, covering all aspects of the student life cycle. These included entry standards, student satisfaction, research intensity, research quality and graduate prospects, using results from the Graduate Outcomes survey.
