New book published
'Fast design, slow innovation' book published by Springer.
David Frohlich's new book on 'Fast design, slow innovation: Audiophotography ten years on'. was published by Springer at the end of December 2015. It is essentially a special second edition of his 2004 book on 'Audiophotography' with five of the original chapters republished here. However the book addresses the issue of why 'audiophotography' never took off and what R & D work has been done in the area since 2004. The conclusion is that audiophotography is only now coming into mainstream use as a form of digital storytelling on smartphones and tablets - showing just how slow the process of innovation is compared with the fast iteration of design ideas.
