Most Influential Thinker award for Professor Carol Woodhams
Surrey Business School Professor of Human Resource (HR) Management Carol Woodhams (pictured below) has topped the HR Most Influential 2023 thinkers list.
The rankings, which launched 17 years ago, celebrates the very best in human resources, awarding individuals for their contributions to best practice and their work to improve the profession. Each person on the list was nominated by their peers and the final rankings were completed by HR Magazine in partnership with Hult International Business School (Ashridge).
Speaking at the ceremony Professor Woodhams said: “I’m extremely grateful, but none of us ‘so-called’ thinkers would be thinkers without the practitioners, because you provide for us the context, information, data, and the access that we need.”
The award ceremony was held in London’s Imperial War Museum on 29 June.
