Surrey has nearly 60 years’ experience of training leaders in travel, tourism and hospitality and Surrey Hospitality and Tourism Management is an Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) Centre of Excellence.

The Royal Aeronautical Society has recently approved our MSc in Air Transport Management, reflecting our excellence in aviation education and alignment with industry standards. 

We’ve developed this degree course closely with industry leaders to ensure that you graduate with a perfect blend of academic knowledge and practical skills to equip you to meet the present and future needs of the industry.

We are situated halfway between London Heathrow and London Gatwick, airports which serve over 120 global airlines, with Farnborough Airport close by.

Placements 

You’ll have the option to take one of our award-winning Professional Training placements that will prepare you for roles in the aviation industry. 

An impressive 95% of our students who went on a placement were in graduate-level employment 15 months after completing their studies (Graduate Outcomes 2024, HESA).

You’ll be supported by our award-winning Employability and Careers team with a programme of advice, guidance and careers fairs throughout your time as a student as well as up to three years after you graduate.  

One hundred per cent of our Surrey Hospitality and Tourism undergraduate students go on to employment or further study after they leave us (Graduate Outcomes 2024, HESA).
