Accelerometer Based System for Lameness Quantification in Dogs
Project aim
The aim of this study was to evaluate temporarily induced lameness in dogs with different accelerometer systems to quantify lameness. This technology can potentially be an effective, practical and portable tool for lameness evaluation of dogs in the clinical set-up.
This study is a collaboration between the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Surrey and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Sweden and took place in the Canine Movement Laboratory of the latter.
